Jesus walked on this street! The Romans broke some of the stones when they threw down wall stones. They destroyed Jerusalem in 70 AD.

Wall

King Herod built this wall with stones weighing 6 tons to over 100 tons!

Archeological discoveries continue!

Pool of Saloam

This man is showing that this pool was close to the tunnel exit.

Coming out!

We all carried flashlights. It was good to see the natural light at the end!

Tunnel

It is 200. Ft down and 1700 ft long!! we walked through it. Water was 1 to 3 ft deep and running swiftly! Water is so clear, it is hard to see here.

Temple Mount

We were fortunate to be able to go into the temple Mount area. We had to go thru security gates. This is a photo of the Muslem temple. We were not allowed to go in the temple. The Jewish temple was right in this area also. Exact location debatable. Wow what a treat to see this!

Still lots of climbing, but very interesting!
